‘Say what?’ It’s more like ‘Say little’

Well this is startlingly embarrassing.

Many years ago I took this blog down. Why? Because I was too busy working on writing content for others, that I didn’t have any inclination to write for myself. And, I’m not one of those marketers that feel the need to constantly write ‘something’ in order to sell themselves (sorry, that’s a brutal truth).

I’ve popped it back up. Why? Well, to be absolutely honest, I need to link to something when doing online training - like the LIS I do with Jill Berry and Andrew Hampton.

But perhaps, by setting this live for that reason, I should try to say something, sometimes. (But, also, please don’t hold your breath).

Beware 'The Coffee-Chatterers'. 

They can, and often will be, overheard.

They are your staff. Your parents. Sometimes your pupils too.

What’s your school’s ‘Black Friday?’

Do schools have their own version of Black Friday?

A date that is vital in their admission process.

Or to put it in ‘commercial speak’; a day that could be pivotal in sales revenue…

Should’ve probably trademarked individual?

So, Specsavers have successfully trademarked the word ‘should’ve’.

And ‘Probably’ is taken by Carlsberg.

Which kind-of makes me wish I’d trademarked ‘individual’ for a school I worked with 20+ years ago.
